Tips to live more authentically

What’s one act of authenticity you can take in the next week? In order to explore your chosen values and uncover how you can live authentically, think about:

  • What’s important to you?

  • What energizes you or makes you feel like the best version of yourself?

  • What do you aspire towards?

As you reflect on these questions, what answers come forward and light up your heart? Acknowledge your heart’s desire* for happiness, fulfillment, purpose, peace and authenticity. Then take these insights and choose one action to intentionally show up as your authentic self over the next seven days. Maybe that’s taking a walk when you feel overwhelmed, saying “thanks, but I can’t” to a social invitation, honoring your ideas and using your voice in your next work meeting or something else that feels right to you.

How does this act of authenticity feel? What discoveries came through, and what will you do with those insights, if anything? There’s no right or wrong way to answer these questions or perform this act of authenticity. It’s all unique to your needs, feelings and desires.

In my six-week workshop, I guide clients through a deeper exploration of these questions to uncover their chosen values, and what shifts can be made to live in alignment with these values. If you're interested in learning more, I invite you to book a discovery call to discuss your goals and questions.

*Practice of acknowledging your heart’s desire is inspired by Thupten Jinpa’s, Ph.D “Loving-Kindness for Oneself” meditation.
